  • Well, what can I say? The pub has been under new ownership for just over 5 weeks and the transformation is amazing! Friendly welcoming staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere. As for the food, words can't describe how good it is!!! New items being constantly added to the menu so there's enough range for everyone. The pizza's are probably one of the best I've tasted, and the Sunday lunch is just sublime. Thoroughly recommend this place.

    Best pizza ever🍕😋 made in house with care and attention. The garlic bread alone is worth a visit for.

  • Tried the Dog and Crook for the first time. Had a two course meal. Had the prawn cocktail and garlic bread to start. The garlic bread was just amazing. For mains we had the roast beef and mussels. Both mains were huge, superbly presented and full of flavours.

    The service was great and had a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely return.

  • Our first visit since new ownership…Loved it ! We were just going for a drink but ended up having the most tasty of meals at a good price . It’s such a lovely place , great table sevice, Very friendly ,cheerful staff & proprietor. We will definitely be back soon !!
